Groundhog Day, 1993

In this scenario, the concept of time loops repetitively, and does not seem to end. Given this circumstance, would that allow Phil Connors, the ‘hero’ of the story to have a moral intuition for what he is doing? The scene shows Phil, the protagonist is on a date with his love interest, Rita. However, since Connors is the only one in the time loop, Rita does not remember what she has said to Connors the last cycle. In the beginning, Phil asks her what type of person she is interested in, which is nothing out of the ordinary. What takes a turn was when Connors sabotages the van for he and his TV crew (which includes Rita) to leave. He also uses the time loop to perfect and match the qualities Rita desires. If time was progressing in the natural order, Connors would not even dare to sabotage the van or manipulate the date, as the original plan was to get out of the town as fast as he can. However, as time does not seem to be an object, he is free to do any thing he wants without any repercussions, as everything gets reset anyway.
